I'm going to start with: The new watcher music is ๐Ÿ’ฏ. The vibe is perfect.

Now jumping into other things:

Oooooh. Kate is a witch. That makes sense. I know it was never explicitly said but for some reason I assumed she was a werewolf. As for our Aitherion list: we've also very briefly see a harpie in chapter 3!

(Totally aside, skimming back through the older podcasts and catching a mention about the Gibbs in western NC... How would they doing after Helene? Woof, western NC got hit so hard! ๐Ÿ˜ž)

Regarding the big houses conversation- specifically seperating magic items by floor- makes- reminds me of the NY brownstone in the Cursebound Series. Not quite the same, but I can definitely see the threads of your thoughts for both.

Which leads to another question about series similarities- the Werewolves, etc. here are obviously very different than in Girl of Glass universe. But how much do they have in common from the Cursebound universe to Sketchbook's? You've written traditional mythological/fantasy creatures in a variety of ways- but what you've written still feels distinctly yours vs just more of the same, expected tropes. How do you do that? Its it intentional, or are you just that good at having your own voice?

Now, Sketchbook drawings: will we get more info on what every drawing is/ how it relates to the given chapter, or is that something we are left to be piecing together on its own?

Also - artist info?!

You clearly went through a lot of effort to find an artist that was perfect to accompany the story, and love their work- can you name and promote them too? Get them more followers or author commissions? How do you go about finding your artists for your books? Thats an interesting technical bit of the authoring process I think would be interesting to hear about- both for authors and artists!

Similarly, I love the Pinterest - I will follow you over there now too... Just another place for me to be too engaged too ๐Ÿ˜… (Seriously, tell me to back off if/when ever needed. I will ...well probably not rein in my fan-girl fanatic-ing but will at least be less obvious and in your face about it. I know I can be MUCH with special interests.)

Speaking of fan admiration - Chris, ILY, lol. You're so clearly Megan's biggest fan, not because she's your wife and you support her and all that. You clearly LOVE what and how she writes. Its so genuine. I love getting to hear you read the chapters aloud, not just because I enjoy your voices and acting interpretations, but because of your reactions as a fan too. Its like everybody opening presents on Christmas - its not just exciting to get a present yourself, there is so much joy in seeing everyone else open their presents and enjoy them too.

And Megan, I agree with Chris. You really are an incredible, brilliant writer.

Chris, your talent and contribution to the over all experience of Sketchbook and Page by Page blows me away too. You two are phenomenal, especially together.

Oh and Reminder! Tell the story about the haunted house!
