Oh, oh, oh. A *profile* on Ella. That extra bit of lore about the sybil's being taken into the Sybillary ... FUCK. Is that what this is?? Making a profile on Ella and why she needs to be taken in?? I've been waiting for that bit of lore to click into place, since there hasn't been an appropriate time in the story yet but the Sybillary is clearly important enough to have gotten a lore post already. Hmm, and the Sybillary post specifically mentions the ratio of witch-born and werewolf-born sybils being voluntarily "inducted", what a coincidence that Ella is a werewolf born sybil now in a witch's care... Is the Watcher just waiting for Ella to say something that proves she's a danger to herself or aitherions as a whole??? 👀

This chapter. It doesn't stress me out like it does Chris; I actually thought it was a very sweet chapter.

Oh Ella. Oh Violet. I'm so glad they're friends now. It almost gives a little feel like Ella is being adopted into the pack as if she were a fostering case too. That line about Ella wanting to see if another werewolf mom hug could feel anything like her mom's. My heart.

And Violet offering an "olive branch" to Jason for Ella's sake (and the Ella bubble! Such an easy accomodation, thanks ViVi). The Jason moment though, wow. Yeah, that explains the animosity between the families... And now Violet KNOWING Clara is dead- making Jason say he would hate his father for something he thinks is only hypothetical but is 100% actually what happened... I'm really interested to see how that plays out when Jason learns the truth, because saying "yeah, of course I'd hate him if he did that" is so different when actually confronted with the reality of it. I'd like to think Jason is a good person and would actually find it disgusting and horrifying and change everything he thinks he knows about his dad but...if the last few years have taught me anything its that people often hold onto the lies closer than admitting the atrocious thing happened/ is happening.

I wonder though, if the animosity of Jason's mom towards his dad we saw earlier has anything to do with this abandoning the search thing. Hmm. Thinking about it more, that combined with Jason's scar and how furious his mom is that his dad didn't immediately call to tell her about the dangerous situation at the school- yeah, it feels like theres something there, even if its just painting a picture of who the sheriff is as a person.

Hahaha I love when I get shout outs! I love that I've met Chris in person once but I pester you guys so much I have integrated myself into your lives as a friend. 🤣 (That's my specialty; Im convinced I don't actually know how to make friends, I'm just around a lot until that how it is. Hahaha).

I've never really thought about it, it is a bit surreal to think people around the world know my name and when I'd be shouting about your books (because Chris is right, every time he calls it). If there is anything I'm associated with worldwide... well, I'm happy its this. I have no shame in how much I stan your work and you two as people too. 😂❤️
